Hardwood flooring adds style, warmth, and mostly value to your home. It is a beautiful, time-less look for any style. Wood Grain installs a variety of hardwood flooring from engineered to solid. We will assist you every step of the way. We will work closely with you to establish a budget for materials and help you choose the type of wood that you may be looking for.
Often times, there may just a couple of spots that may need replacing. At WoodGrain, we will match the existing flooring with a technique called lace-in. The lace-in technique allows us to replace only the damaged flooring allowing our customers to save by not having to replace the entire floor. We will then sand and finish so the new floor matches the existing. If you have damaged flooring to an existing engineered flooring, we will use our connections to find the match and replace any damaged areas!
Sanding is a vital process to the refinishing process. It allows us to remove any surface damage and scratched. We sand the floors multiple times with different grits of sand paper. Once the sanding process is complete, we move to the finishing process. In the finishing process we apply stain if needed. We will work with you to determine the best color matches. Once the staining is complete, we apply 3 coats of a polyurethane floor finish.
Buff & Recoating is a process that allows us to remove the surface existing floor finish with a fine screen buffing technique. Once the existing finish is removed, we will apply a fresh coat of floor finish!
